Print design
You name it - we can design it.... Business cards, letterheads, adverts, brochures, folders, leaflets, annual reports,
flyers, posters, envelopes, compliment slips, postcards...
Yes, as we have a network of printers that we work with, and different jobs suit certain printers more than
others. This means that the client does not have to get involved in an unfamiliar process, simply specifying
quantities and choosing stocks before taking delivery of the items on completion.
- Some clients have a clear idea of the printed item that is required from the outset. If not, we can advise on the possibilites and advise on pros and cons and suitability for each option.
- Unless we work with you regularly, we will need to find out more information about your company to ensure we have a clear idea of your market position and message. We may also need to work alongside your existing branding, ensuring consistency with any other existing promotional material.
- A quotation is provided based on the requirements.
- An initial deposit of 50% is required to confirm your order (or P.O. if an established client).
- We can start work when we receive relevant text and imagery, as well as having agreed turnaround time.
- Fusion will provide initial design concepts.
- Following approval, we will work the design through to a final stage.
- Any revisons or amendments are made by the client.
- Final proofs are provided for sign off by the client and the layouts are either provided to the client or sent to
print.
This is a universal colour matching system. Using a swatch, colour references can be decided on
during the design process, which provide a more accurate match to the intended colours.
The standard process is called CMYK, which still produces great results but can allow for minor
colour inconsistencies. CMYK is usually more cost effective.
We deal with different stocks from one project to another and take a keen interest in which are appropriate to
a particular application. It could be a silky smooth matt finish for a quality feel, or a gloss laminate that will create
the ‘wow’ factor. Depending on budget, using special finishes and effects such as embosses and metallics can be
very effective.
A wide range of recycled stocks are now available, and the great thing is that the quality and cost are now
comparable to non-recycled. Where possible, Fusion design recommends recycled stocks.
Unfortunately, the most common (lithographic processes), are not generally. However, Fusion have access to
Waterless printing, which uses no chemicals. This provides environmentally friendly printing, without any
compromise on quality. This process is suited for small to medium runs (up to 10,000) with no restrictions on
stocks that can be used.
Obviously timescales vary depending on the printed item. We always endevour to work to your requirements,
and frequently produce brochures / stationery within 2 to 3 weeks.
Please get in touch so that we can discuss your requirements. We do not provide fixed costs as every project
has varying requirements.

Identity & logos
- We will initially consult you to find out more about your company or organisation, who your competitors are and how they position themselves. We aim to understand how you work and your commercial outlook.
- A quotation is then provided.
- An initial deposit of 50% is required to confirm your order (or P.O. if an established client).
- Then follows some research and brainstorming complimented by scribbling rough ideas and initial concepts.
- We then send you between four and six initial designs, depending on requirements. We usually ensure the designs are quite open at this stage, so that the design is not refined in any way at the early stages.
- You then appraise these and identify the one or two designs that you feel are most suitable.
- Then more focused designs are supplied (usually two or three), which then face your comments once more.
- Your feedback helps us to develop the logo further, and a final version is produced.
- You settle the balance of the agreed cost.
- Following your approval, the final artwork is then supplied in a range of formats.
An existing logo can be adapted and re-styled so that it’s integrity and key elements remain intact. Send us your
current logo and we will discuss your requirements.
An integral part of the design process is your involvement, so we require this input from the start.
We aim to provide initial designs within 5 working days and complete the process in a further 5 working days
(this is dependant on you giving prompt feedback on concepts).
Please get in touch so that we can discuss your requirements. We do not provide fixed costs as every project
has varying specifications.
We will send you a PDF file via email that you can view both on screen or print out if you wish. If preferred,
we can supply prints of the designs.
Most logo concepts require one or two revisions to reach a conclusion. If more revisions are required, this will
be calculated at our current hourly rate (£40).
The client holds all rights for use of the logo (once balance payment is made).
Of course. It’s always beneficial to meet, as Fusion aims to nurture ongoing relationships, establishing trust; as it
inspires the best results from both you and us. When you really understand how each other works, some of the
best work can be achieved. Give us a call to arrange a suitable time...

Web design
We suggest that our clients purchase domain names directly to avoid any legal ownership issues in the future.
Many websites selling domain names can be found through the major search engines.
An affiliate company can provide this service on a top-of-the-range server that is fully managed and monitored.
We can take an existing site and update, re-design or expand it.
A small brochure site should take three to four weeks to complete. A large e-commerce site with content
management, blogs, forums, etc would take anywhere between four and twelve weeks.

- You settle the balance of the agreed cost.
- The sign or display item is supplied (and installed if required).
